Using local, seasonal ingredients to prepare timeless American dishes as well as classic Italian favorites, EVO hopes that every time you leave, you leave knowing you’ll be back again soon. When EVO owner Nick Neuman was a child, his most cherished memories of visiting his mother’s family in Rome and Milan were of the cafés and small restaurants where they’d gather. Walking inside felt like an escape from the hustle and bustle of the day, and the food was authentic and rich with Italian flavors. Freshly baked bread, handmade pasta, and locally sourced seasonal vegetables were key to the menu.

In 2013, alongside the streets of Old Town Scottsdale, Neuman opened EVO, bringing his childhood memories of Italy to life in the city he now calls home. As a graduate of ASU, Neuman spent his college years working in restaurants all over Phoenix. To him, opening EVO gave him the ability to combine his passion for the Italian dining experience, with his love for the Phoenix valley.

EVO is both upscale and comfortable; ideal for Sunday supper with the entire family or a romantic dinner with the one you love.

With recipes true to the Central and Northern regions of Italy, including Risotto, Alfredo, Ragu, and Carbonara, EVO strives to perfect a balance of simple yet robust flavors, using only the highest quality ingredients available for the season.
